From the outdoors to the inside, there are so many things you can decorate for the fall and winter seasons. Being a fireplace company, we find the beauty of being able to decorate a mantel and transform it to match the season. Whether you are in the mood for a classic or more modern look, check out some of these ideas before you start decorating.
1. Paper Oak Leaf Garland:
Bring the outdoors in with a beautiful rustic oak leaf garland.
2. Birch Bark Candle holder:
You have candles probably all over the house, include on your mantel. Give your candle a rustic look by surrounding your candle with Birch Bark. Note: Birch Bark can be highly flammable so go ahead and use an electric candle.
3. Fall Flowers:
Who doesn’t love flowers? Fill your mantel with fall flowers !
4. Pumpkins:
White pumpkins, gold pumpkins, gold pumpkins, real pumpkins, fake pumpkins. Get creative and explore all the options that you can accent your mantel with.
5. Chalkboard:
A chalkboard mantel is a creative way to update your mantel during the holidays from Halloween to Thanksgiving and into Christmas. Simply update the chalkboard with your favorite quote and a message about the new holiday coming up.
6. Apple Orchard:
Instead of using pumpkins, we’ve seen plenty of people use apples. They can be a great display addition underneath a photo on your mantel .
7. Holiday Photo Mantel:
Another great interchangeable mantel idea is switching out your mantel with seasonal family photos during the beginning of fall through winter!
